Gel-X Nails in Cedar Park

Want longer nails without acrylic? Gel-X is a full-cover soft gel tip that’s shaped and sized for each nail, then bonded with gel and cured under an LED lamp. You get the length and shape you want in about an hour, with a lighter, more natural feel than a traditional set. Gel-X · from $55 · 60 min

How a Gel-X appointment works

  1. Your nail artist shapes your natural nails and preps the cuticles.
  2. They pick a tip size for each nail and choose the shape and length with you: almond, coffin, square, stiletto, short or long.
  3. Each tip is bonded with gel and cured under an LED lamp.
  4. Then color, chrome or nail art, and a glossy top coat. Nail art is priced with you before it starts.

How long does Gel-X last?

About 3 to 4 weeks with everyday wear. When your nails grow out, come back for a soak-off and a fresh set rather than a fill. Proper soak-off removal is $10.

Gel-X questions

Does Gel-X damage your nails?

Not when it’s applied and removed by a professional. Let us soak it off for you ($10 soak-off); peeling or picking it off is what usually thins the nail.

Can I get short Gel-X nails?

Yes. Gel-X comes in short, medium and long tips, so you can keep them natural-looking.

Is Gel-X good for weak or bitten nails?

It can help, since the tip protects the nail underneath while it grows. Your nail artist will check your nails first.

Can I swap Gel-X for builder gel later?

Yes. Many guests go back and forth. Builder gel strengthens your own nails without adding length. See all manicures
